Ever since being a freshman in high school at Palatine, I’ve always had an ambition to have a career in being behind a microphone. Since 2021, I’ve created more of a love for calling the game than playing the game. I love to entertain viewers and feel like I’m interacting with the families at home watching me from a big screen on their couch. The amount of time I spend finding statistics, interviews, and anything else is totally worth it by the end of the broadcast I am finished with. My goal is to find a career in sports broadcasting, and I want to make sure the relatives and friends that have motivated me to get to where I am get to ride along with me the entire way. I love to call any sport I get the opportunity for, and it’s always fun making new friends in the booth and beyond. My name is Luke Jorden, and my goal is to entertain.
