Bridges is the new program series for students with vision impairments at the Utah School for the Blind. The Bridges program replaces the STEP Program. The Bridges Program has three separate programs: Bridges High School, Bridges Community Readiness, Bridges Residential Life and Expanded Core Intensive. All four programs are based on Utah’s Portrait of a Graduate competencies, the Expanded Core Curriculum and Utah state standards.

We have four Bridges programs for students in grades 9th through post high school. Each of these programs is designed to provide individualized instruction to give students the tools and skills they need to successfully transition to the next step in life.
