Graduated from Buena High School in 1978 - Ventura California
Graduated from Ventura College in 1980
Got married in 1981
Maintained a professional Taxidermy business (TrinityMountainArts.com) from 1981-1991.
Continues to do taxidermy work in the summer and on the weekends (Trinity Mountain Arts).
Went back to college in the fall of 1991 and graduated from Simpson University with a Multiple Subject teaching credential in 1995 - Redding, CA
Taught night classes for Shasta College -1991,1992
Received the "Outstanding Student Teacher" Award from Simpson College - 1995
First taught elementary school in Lewiston, CA right out of college -1995
Joined Weaverville Elementary in the Fall of 1996. Taught 1st grade (two years), 2nd grade (one year).
Taught 6th grade((four years).
Completed course work at the Institute of Computer Technology and graduated as a master teacher for Intel in 2000.
Graduated from Cal Poly Tech State University with a certificate in Instructional Technology -2004
Taught instructional technology (computer classes) for Weaverville Elementary School (2002-2008)

Taught 4th grade 2019/2020 - Mold issues delayed the start of the school year. Corona Virus Pandemic - students went home mid March and teachers continued Remote lessons through the remainder of the school year.
Taught 4th grade 2020/21 - Stressful , unprecedented year as we all faced COVID19 and all the regulations that effected the entire country.
Taught 4th grade 2021/22 - School started 2 weeks late due to local fires.
