Longest YSFlight flight to date

Post date: Feb 12, 2015 4:42:09 PM

This morning a HAVA Boeing 777-200ER touched down at JFK International Airport in New York City after flying nearly 5000 statute miles from Honolulu, and spending 8 hours and 25 minutes in the air.

The map flown was an ultra-lite test map called USA Lite. Derived from Gunny's Tri-Angle map, and using some of Patrick's recently released airports, this map is geared towards long-haul flying across the country. I currently have 7 airports: Kodiak, Anchorage, Honolulu, LAX, Seattle, Miami & JFK. I plan on also including Chicago, San Antonio and texas.

Depending on trial flights, I may also try to include parts of UK Lite to spice up the map and create one of the largest maps for YSFlight.

Check out my Flight Log to see all my most recent flights! I have been keeping careful track of particulars, so the stats sheet will be interesting to check out!
