Young children love nature - be it animals, flowers, plants, food... it doesn't matter. All the various aspects of nature fascinate them. This love and fascination for nature provides for wonderful learning opportunities. This section of the YCM website is intended to provide parents (and teachers) with simple lessons taken directly from nature. There are a plethora of books and internet websites that support using nature to help teach object lessons to children. One of our goals here at YCM is to help make these nature lessons so simple and easy, that a quick overview will help any adult bring home a lesson for the young child in their care.
