Place in History - Kerry Von Erich will probably best remembered as the biggest star of the Von Erich kids. While Kevin was the eldest and perhaps the most talented and though David may have had the greatest potential, it was Kerry who was given the title shots and eventually the title. That title win made Kerry, for an instant, the biggest star in the world as he had dedicated the win to deceased brother David and did what not even his old man could do. Kerry could be carried and had enough jock charisma, so that he was the most popular in the clan. This made the greatest difference and eventually allowed him opportunities in WCW and the WWF. While neither really panned out, Kerry was able to make a brief impression on the WWF fans. His demons and some might say the families caught up with him in 1993, when a cocaine charge threatened to put him in prison Kerry became the last of the brothers to die, when he committed suicide in 1993. The "Modern Day Warrior" may not have been the greatest, but for a moment in time he was the biggest.
