1. Bebba’s Tun

Prehistoric Bebington to the mediaeval period and the modem town, with the focus on St. Andrew’s Church and the Lower Village

2. Bunbury, Cheshire

Survey starting with the Prehistory of Bunbury and finishing with its providing a setting for the TV series Home Fires. Focus on the magnificent mediaeval church with the alabaster statue of its builder Sir Hugh Calveley and the 15th century panel paintings.

3. Heswall, Gayton and Oldfield

A time traveller’s guide to the historical legacy of Heswall with the emphasis on the growth of the three townships.

4. Irby and Thurstaston

2,000 years of the history of Irby charting its development from an Iron Age farm to a modern village within the context of its relationship to Thurstaston.

5. St. Andrew’s Church, Bebington

A virtual tour of the Parish Church relating its architecture to historical remains and artefacts, such as the wall paintings on the south wall and the surviving misericords in the choir. The building is placed within the context of the surrounding township.

6. The Changing Face of Tranmere

Tranmere and its three satellite townships from their early history to the present, with the focus on the modem period — 18th to the 21 centuries. The presentation is based on the history of Tranmere produced by the Rock Ferry Local History and Research Group.

7. Wallasey

Aspects of daily life in Mediaeval Wallasey, with the focus on Wallasey Village, St.Hilary’s Church and the surviving Tudor church tower. 

8. Rock Ferry: The Changing Years

The story of a Wirral community from the early historical periods to the present century, charting the course of change and continuity within that community
