Award of the Wirral Horn for 2017
Each year the Wirral History and Heritage Association makes an ‘award’ to an individual or group which has made an exceptional contribution towards preserving or enhancing some aspect of Wirral’s Heritage.
The award, which takes the form of a replica Wirral Horn, is presented annually at the Association's AGM.
At the Association's 2017 AGM, the Wirral Horn was awarded to West Kirby Museum.
Heather Chapman collected the Horn on behalf of the Museum.
The presentation was made by the incoming Chairman, Paul Smith.
