The start of a new season at West Riding Small Locomotive Society.

We are glad to say that we are open and running trains again.

Major works were undertaken this winter as our raised track tunnel was removed and a new tunnel built in its place.

Opening Times:

We are open every Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm from the beginning of April to the end of September.

Garden Railway,:

The mixed gauge (32mm and 45mm) double track circuits were completed last year (2021), with trains being able to travel round the circuit.

Rally Weekend:

Our Gala Weekend is held in August, we open the railway from 10am to 4pm and well worth a visit.

Members' engines and visiting engines run on both days as well as a variety of small scale road steam engines. There will also be an assortment of models on show in the large marquee. We provide various stalls with prizes galore to be won and yummy bakery items on offer. Lots of interest for engineers, hobbyists, enthusiasts and the whole family!

In the Clubhouse there is a variety of food and drinks (non alcoholic) on sale throughout the weekend.

This is a really enjoyable event for all ages. So come and join the fun, we'll be delighted to see you.
