Waseley Badminton Club

Waseley Badminton Club has competed for over 25 years and plays club matches in the Worcestershire league and the Cradley Heath Badminton League between the months of October and April. Weekly club nights are on Thursday evenings, 7.30pm onwards. The club is based in Waseley Hills High School, Rubery, Birmingham, B45 9EL.

We operate a summer club between April and August for those who have not played enough in the season, or for the few not yet sufficiently injured to warrant a rest!

We only use feather shuttles for club nights and matches, as we feel they make for much more skillful games. The courts themselves have a rubberised surface offering plenty of grip, and the lighting is excellent.

We pride ourselves on being a very friendly bunch with a range of youth and experience (which is the polite way of saying some, although not all, of us are getting on a bit!)
