Most people rely on driving themselves around town or to work every morning, but riding the bus has many benefits. By taking the bus, you will save money by purchasing less fuel, help reduce local traffic, and cut back on greenhouse gas emissions.

CT Transit offers bus service to Wallingford residents Monday - Friday starting at 5:00 am and running through 5:30 pm, with routes all around town and connections to New Haven.

CT Transit is also taking steps to cut back on air pollution by replacing old diesel-fuel buses with new fuel-cell, hybrid-electric vehicles. These buses emit only water vapor, which is a drastic improvement upon the array of pollutants emitted by typical gas-powered vehicles.
