Since March of 2014 the Ukrainian Students' Club at Ryerson has organized and executed several fundraisers with proceeds going to several worthwhile Ukrainian initiatives locally and internationally.
To date we have donated a total of $7,110.
November 2016
We are proud to announce that we were able to raise $2,610 from out Retro Zabava and will be donating the funds to www.gofundme.com/support-marks-fight-for-life-2ucfn ! We really appreciate the efforts of Huda a Mocni and Hloptsi Z Mista for helping to make this possible by generously dontating their talent, and playing for free!
December 2015
$2,500 was donated towards the Canada Ukraine Foundation. The funds went towards medical missions & humanitarian work in Ukraine.
$1200 was donated towards support in Ukraine through the Ukrainian Canadian Congress - Toronto Branch. The funds went towards defensive materials for volunteer battalions - helmets, bullet proof vests, binoculars as well as aid for injured volunteers and soldiers.
March 2014
$300 was donated to the Fallen Heroes of Maidan Fund. The fund was initiated by Euromaidan Canada in support of the families of victims of violence in Kyiv.
