Corner Archery hosted the 2019 AZ State JOAD Outdoor Championships over the April 27-28th weekend at the Ben Avery FITA Range. This two day event included a 72 arrow qualification round on Saturday and head to head elimination matches on Sunday.
There were a total of 104 shooters in 26 different divisions representing 16 different JOAD clubs across the state. There were 10 yeoman shooters that participated as well and for most of them it was their very first tournament.
Congratulations to all of the archers that competed, earned new pins, set personal bests and more. There were 16 new state records that were set during the qualification rounds and 26 archers that earned the title of State Champion! Thank you to the Corner Archery staff, judging team, volunteers, spectators and archers for helping make this event successful for all of those involved!
