The United Kingdom Association for Hunter Field Target (Copyright © 2002 UKAHFT) was formed in 2002 with the aim to promote HFT in the UK & to run a national series of competitions that are both fun & competitive but most of all SAFE.
We also run an affiliation scheme that allows clubs to use the UKAHFT name when advertising shoots which means travelling shooters know what rules/format to expect when attending such an event.
The UKAHFT National Series consists of 9 events each year where your best 6 scores count towards the final League placings
UKAHFT events are open to everyone 9 years of age or older who aren't exempt from shooting under Section 21 of the Firearms Act.
There is no minimum specification of equipment used at our events as long as they do not exceed 12ft/lbs muzzle energy
