Scouts are responsible for checking the monthly postings of their "Scout Account" to ensure they have money in their individual accounts if they choose to use this system. The balances will be posted monthly on the bulletin board outside the office door. In 2012 money can only be accessed from an account having funds. Also, scouts will be allowed to participate in events so long as they do not owe the troop.
Troop 95 will be issuing custom embroidered neckerchiefs to each scout. There is no charge to the scout. For adults and for replacement neckerchiefs there is a cost of $12. Neckerchiefs are to be worn when you wear your Merit Badge sash for special events, such as Courts of Honors, Camporees and Eagle Ceremonies.
“Be Prepared... the meaning of the motto is that a scout must prepare himself by previous thinking out and practicing how to act on any accident or emergency so that he is never taken by surprise.”
Sir Robert Baden-Powell British Army Officer, founder of the Boy Scouts, 1857-1941
