Caspar was a phenomenal show cat; his judges described judging him as an honour and a privilege, no doubt because of his lovely, gentle nature as well as his majestic good looks.  However, to me he was far more than that; he was a great big soft lap cat who loved his cuddles, jumping onto your lap, planting himself on your chest, and gazing into your eyes, but he also sometimes liked to play the fool and enjoyed mucking about with his best mate Rupert.  I know there will never be another quite like him.

Rupert's soulful gaze belied his cheeky character; he was the naughtiest kitten in the naughtiest litter I have bred and loved to wind up the other cats.  But true to his breed he was gentle and loving, even if it meant that he would climb you when he wanted a cuddle.  He bravely fought a long battle against cancer, and is greatly missed.

Champion Troika Sheremeteva - Sasha

Sasha was the daughter of Robbie (Grand Champion Ardram Nagorny) and Koshka (Troika Firebird, see my Neuters page), and like all of Koshka's kittens was a very sweet and pretty girl. Sasha was another cat who I lost too soon.

Champion & Premier Troika Constantia - Klara

Klara was the great granddaughter of my original queen, Macnovich Fedkanina and also Willow's mother.   She was always a very affectionate girl, and latterly a slightly batty old lady!  She had a good, full life.

Grand Champion Ardram Nagorny - Robbie

I was very fortunate that Marjorie Draper was willing to let me have this very special boy.  Robbie produced many beautiful kittens for me, with many gaining high titles and Best in Show wins. He was a very intelligent cat with a "bombproof" temperament.  He was able to enjoy a few years of peaceful retirement before he decided that his time had come.

Champion & Premier Troika Tatiana Larina - Minka

Minka was also the great granddaughter of my original breeding queen, and came back to live with me after the untimely death of her owner.  A sweet, gentle girl, who enjoyed her peaceful retirement.

UK & Imperial Grand Premier Troika Odette -

Pushka (1996-2013)

I feel particularly privileged to have shared over 16 years with Pushka, who was the first female Russian to achieve the title of UK Grand Premier and was 13 when she won her Imperial title. This took her total number of certificates to a staggering 62, and during her long and illustrious show career she also won Best in Show or Best of Variety six times.  However, over and above her achievements on the show bench she was a remarkably intelligent, sensitive, gentle and affectionate cat who always behaved impeccably.

Grand Champion & Premier Troika Maria Morevna - Willow (2000-2014)

As well as being a very successful show cat Willow was a "super mum", producing the Best in Show kitten at the RBBA show 4 years on the trot, as well many Grand titled offspring.  In her prime she had a remarkably soft, thick, plushy coat with a wonderful sheen, and she certainly knew she was beautiful.  She was a really affectionate lap cat too, and I am so grateful to have her descendants.
