Campaign Finance Transparency: Tashi Wangdi's Response

Tashi Wangdi la's campaign team has sent the following financial statement to The Tibetan Political Review, which is published below in its entirety. The Wangdi campaign has also committed to providing the public with weekly updates.

Notes:
1.     The above statement is most recent financial statement regarding Kasur Tashi Wangdi la's campaign fund.  Prior to this, we haven't solicited any public contributions and conducted any fund raising events.  The public meeting of 12/30/2010 was Kasur la's first public event.
2.     All the expenses in building website, printing posters and documents during the preliminary election were borne by the supporters.
3.     Kasur Tashi Wangdi la has refused reimbursement of his travel expenses from the campaign fund and hence, all the travel and other expenses during his visit and stay in United States were borne by himself. He expressed to do the same during all his forthcoming campaign visits to India.
