Matthew Sheridan

Matthew’s plays have been produced by the Black Theatre Troupe of Upstate New York (Berkshire On Stage called  Nice Day a “stand-out piece” in the One Act Jamboree), London’s Union Theatre,  American Globe Theatre,  Opera on the Go, Palos Village Players, New Deal Creative Arts Center, Gulfport Community Players, Taber Players, and many high schools, including the Metropolitan School of the Arts in Alexandria VA.  They've been featured in the New York City 15 Minute Play (winning the Audience Favorite Award), National Alliance for Musical Theatre,  Cardiff International, and Theatre Resources Unlimited festivals;  and workshopped with Queens Theatre, The Human Race Theatre Company,  and One Night Stand Theater.  He is  published   by Playscripts and Off The Wall Plays.                                             

A New York City native, Matthew is a graduate of LaGuardia High School of the Arts, and a Presidential Arts Scholar in Theatre.  He earned a BFA cum laude in Music Composition from the State University of New York, and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
