September 23rd: Membership Sunday & Adult Baptism

If you are interested in becoming a member of Thamesview United Church, please speak with Pastor Nancy, Julie Morris, Cathy Hutson or contact the church office.  Membership is through transfer from another church, or by profession of your faith.

Also, we will be offering baptism to all adults who would like to be baptized, or who feel it would be meaningful to renew their baptismal vows.  Again, please speak with either Pastor Nancy or Kate Monk if you are interested in participating in this special service.

A very big thank-you to everyone who made the 50th anniversary weekend so special – all the members of the Worship, Membership and In and Out committees, everyone who volunteered, the donors & the bidders in the Silent Auction (which raised more than $4,000 for Camp Bimini and our Thamesview roof project),

Rod Culham & the TUC Choir, Rev. Larry Skinner, all who donated food items, & everyone who attended.

The entire celebration was a success and a blessing because of all of you –

Carolyn Harris & Paul Knowles,  co-chairs, In and Out Committee

WPCC would like to thank Laurel Laughton for her donation of craft supplies, on behalf of her late sister Dorothy Gal. We would also like to thank Joye Kane for her donation of yarn! These items will be of great use to the West Perth Compassionate Crafters in our efforts to contribute to our local community.

Interested in getting together with other crafters or donating your crafted items? Consider joining West Perth Compassionate Crafters. We gather once a month: build connections, craft together, collect donations of yarn and crafted items (baby blankets, prayers shawls and twiddle muffs) and distribute to those in need in our community.
