Thamesview’s  on-line Silent Auction has been going so well that we’ve decided to keep it going for a while longer!

So we are looking for new and exciting (or delicious!) items to auction!

A cake, a pie, some bread, ..a piece of art, a wood-worked item, an afternoon of gardening, detailing a car....

If you have something you can donate, please contact Bob Hutson right away!

Important Message June 11 2020

After the announcement that limited church worship would be allowed, some questions have come in for what that means for Thamesview.

We have decided to continue to be cautious, and diligent, and not rush into gathering together in our church building until the fall.  We are hoping to plan some outdoor Sunday evening services this summer, and more information will be shared as we are able to get the logistics in place, but we will also be continuing to have services available through YouTube or our website.

Thank you for your continued support.

Message from the Christian Resource Centre

posted Jun 6, 2020, 6:52 AM by Thamesview UC Fullarton

Greetings everyone,

The Christian Resource Centre wanted you and your church communities to be the first to know that we have many, MANY resources for children/young people that would be helpful to keep young folks busy and connected to their faith family.  We know this is especially important as we navigate through uncharted and uncertain territory over the summer and into the fall....

We have set these activity books on a special table just inside the door at the Resource Centre and they are all 50% off!!

We have set our re-open date to Tuesday, June 23 with reduced hours.  We will be open from Tuesday – Friday from 10 am – 4 pm and by appointment.

We would appreciate if you would include this information in all the different ways you are communicating with your church family at this time.

Hand sanitizer will be available as you enter the store, masks are recommended and physical distancing is required.  The number of customers in the store at one time is limited to 2 including the customer at the checkout counter.

We appreciate your support and understanding during these challenging times.

Bless you all,

Gayle Coleman, Director

We are excited to offer a new program: Bimini Connects!

This is designed to be an online camp experience for families.  Camp Bimini, as our mission statement says, is a “place where campers may experience nature, grow spiritually and create lifelong friendships”. Bimini Connects (BC) offers a way to stay connected with our campers at this very important time, by way of a new and exciting platform.  At a time when building community is more important than ever, BC offers a space to gather and share our feelings, dreams and fears in safe ways.  This online platform will allow Camp Bimini campers an “experience where they feel loved and valued for who they are” while reconnecting with their friends and fellow campers and, at the same time, doing many of the familiar activities of Camp Bimini. Watch this video and read our FAQ page attached to this video!

Hope to "see" you this summer!
