Thamesview United Church Good Friday Service April 10 2020 Minister Rev. Nancy Knowles, Music Directory: Rod Culham Prayer Readings: Kate Monk Scriture Readings: Tim Shute Words to Music Were You There Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Were you there when they laid him in the tomb? Were you there when they laid him in the tomb? Oh! Sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble, tremble. Were you there when they laid him in the tomb? O Sacred Head O sacred head, sore wounded, with grief and shame weighed down, now scornfully surrounded with thorns, thine only crown; how art thou pale with anguish, with sore abuse and scorn; how does that visage languish which once was bright as morn. Sorry for technical difficulties in Rev. Nancy's video recording in Reflection #3 I can only imagine the awful weight of the cross Jesus carried. Down In My Heart Lyrics I have the joy, joy, joy, joy, Down in my heart, (where?)
Down in my heart, (where?) Down in my heart, I have the joy, joy, joy, joy, Down in my heart, (where?) Down in my heart to stay. And I'm so happy, so very happy I have the love of Jesus in my heart. (Down in my heart) And I'm so happy, so very happy I have the love of Jesus in my heart. I have the love of Jesus, love of Jesus, Down in my heart, (where?) Down in my heart, (where?) Down in my heart, I have the love of Jesus, love of Jesus, Down in my heart, (where?) Down in my heart to stay. And I'm so happy, so very happy I have the love of Jesus in my heart. (Down in my heart) And I'm so happy, so very happy I have the love of Jesus in my heart. I've got the peace that passes understanding Down in my heart,…
