Education and Professional Experience

Woonggyu Jung received Ph. D. in 2008 from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. From 2001 to 2008, he worked at the Beckman Laser Institute and Medical Clinic at UC Irvine, which is one of the world’s top research organizations in laser treatment and diagnosis. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since January 2009. He joined the faculty of UNIST in 2012 as an Assistant Professor of School of Nano-Bioscience & Chemical Engineering.
