 View the Sacrilege- Walmart built in the grave yard of the steel industry where once thousands of steel workers made a middle class living below: The U.S. sent more than 4000 factories to Mexico. President Clinton rushed billions of dollars to Mexico to save the peso and the Mexican economy in 1995. Millions of Americans lost their jobs and businesses since then. Walmart came like an army invasions in many towns and communities and wipe them out . President Clinton sent China our technology that took more than 30 years to develop. More than a million workers in the computer industry lost their jobs. Thousands of computer businesses had to close down. Some like mine were in business for many years providing a living for many. Hundreds of major computer manufacturers closed down too due to free trade economics. I sold directly to China years ago and during a time when about one third of all computers going into China had to be smuggled in. Millions of workers came from Mexico to America seeking economic survival. The value of workers and labor has been degraded and deflated. This represents trillions of dollars lost forever. The trade deficit which has broken records for a generation also represents trillions of even more dollars in value lost forever. In spite of all this free trade economics failed and Pres Obama had to bail out the process by borrowing trillions of dollars from the future and China. Free trade economics is a structural sin against all societies. It never was about real free trade at all. It was about discounting the value of workers and labor for the sake of more profits. And there is nothing free about it with governments acting as brokers and dealers in a global economic arena where the free market is isolated to only a few. Walmart came like an invading army into the towns and neighborhood businesses in many cities, across American knocking out main street and businesses the knitted communities together. They showed their workers how to take advantage of government benefits. Many Walmart workers need government assistance to survive. Alan Grayson says more Walmart employees on Medicaid, food stamps than other companiesLeave it to Alan "Congressman with Guts" Grayson to get a security escort from Walmart on Thanksgiving. "In state after state, the largest group of Medicaid recipients is Walmart employees. I'm sure that the same thing is true of food stamp recipients. Each Walmart ‘associate’ costs the taxpayers an average of more than $1,000 in public assistance," Grayson wrote in a Huffington Post column on Nov. 24, 2012. Actually Walmart is now a middle man. The Chinese opened some China Direct stores in New York. This may be the next business coming to your way.  You can watch the Chinese Liberation Army rolling by at railroad crossing in your neighborhood. Cosco ( not to be confused with Costco the retailing giant ) is the largest container shipping company in the world. This Chinese company is owned in part by the Chinese Liberation Army. Note too that only about 15 of the largest ocean container ships pollute the world more than all the automobiles in the world. No one in the anti-global warming communities seem to want to talks about it including former VP Gore |
