It all started in 1977 when I acquired my first OES Christie. She was fantastic with children and was also a great mother to all her puppies. I bred and showed OES under the kennel name Stoneyroyde with my daughter until 1992. During that time the families who our puppies joined and the breeders I met became part of the Stoneyroyde family.
In 2011, my husband Dave and I brought Ruby into our family and like Christie almost 4 decades ago I continue to write the story for Stoneyroyde Kennels. Ruby has been joined by two outstanding boys from Hungary, BeMee and Ari, we are looking forward to what the future holds for them. My daughter, Siona like me years ago has included her daughters and husband in this new chapter.
Stoneyroyde Kennels, named after the street my grandfather grew up on, is family owned and run. All our dogs are part of our family first, they play with my granddaughters and their friends and are sure to impart as many wet kisses they can on all those who are willing.
I am excited about the new chapters we will write for Stoneyroyde Kennels and the new families we will meet and create along the way. This is part of my legacy that I hope to pass along to my granddaughters.
