Serving God & the Community Today whilst Building for the Future

St John’s Church is located in the Parish and Communities on the Eastside of the River Parrett (including Eastover and Kings Down). It is where we worship God and serve the wider community. We are a member of Inclusive Church which means we are working hard to include everyone, irrespective of economic power, gender, mental health, physical ability, ethnicity / heritage or sexuality. All of who you are is welcome at St John's.

The church building itself is Grade II* Listed and was completed in 1846. It is one of the first churches built by the Oxford Movement. Like all buildings it needs constant repair and maintenance. At present we are raising over £100,000 to create a safe access up the tower and repair the tower roof to stop the rain pouring through.

By giving a donation today whether £5 or £100 or anywhere in between you will help us to serve the wider community today and also keep this building for the next generations.

Click the button to donate, for each donation we have to pay a 1.95% fee (19.5p for every £10).

If you are able to give a larger sum (£100+) please email us revlisstjohnbridgwater@gmail.com and we can make alternative arrangements.

Thank you

Revd Lis Sparrow, Vicar of St John’s and St John's PCC
