Schlieske-Fluro "Libelle III"

1952*

German helicopter built by Walter Schlieske, called the "Libelle III". It had an empty weight of 23kg and a gross weight of 110kg. Rotor diameter 7,40m; length 4,50m; cruise speed 160-240 km/h and max. speed 300 km/h.

*Note: the "FLUR-Flugroller and Hubschrauber Entwicklung" ("FLUR flying scooter and helicopter development") company founded by W. Schlieske to develop his aircraft turned out to be a fraud and the flight dates were faked. Schlieske went to jail for this in 1957.
