1927  In 1927 the Cierva Autogyro Company contracted with George Parnall to build two light gyroplanes designed by Harold Bolas. One of these was the C.10 (J9038), equipped with the 70hp (52kW) Armstrong Siddeley Genet five-cylinder air-cooled radial engine. It crashed in 1927 during comparative tests with the C.9.   |
