2012  Quad-rotor remotely-controlled helicopter created by Dutch artist Bart Jansen. It was made from a modified Lotus T580 quad-rotor RC helicopter kit with the corpse of Jansen's beloved pet cat, Orville - named after the famous aviator Orville Wright - who had been killed in a road accident. The "OrvilleCopter" debuted at the KunstRai ArtFair, an art festival in Amsterdam. According to Jansen, it will receive an upgraded engine and rotors on Orville's birthday.    |
