2019 FOOTLIGHTS AND SPOTLIGHTS REGISTRATION - Grades 7-12
THIS INFORMATION IS FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM REGISTRATION - ONLY STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 7-12. GRADES 3-6 ARE PART OF SYST JUNIOR AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND IN A LINK TO THE LEFT.
Online registration for Footlights (Grades 7-8) and Spotlights (Grades 9-12) will open on April 2, 2019 at 6:30 pm and will close on April 4, 2019 at 6:00 pm unless the program fills earlier. Once each group has reached capacity, the online program will start a waitlist. If you register and change your mind, please cancel your registration so a person from the waitlist can be added.
It is crucial that ONE person registers for a student. It has happened in the past that we have one child with three different registrations because three family members are registering at the same time. This causes our waitlist to kick in and because of the nature of the registration program, the duplicates are difficult to catch right away. I would ask that you at least communicate so that duplicates can be deleted by you - because over 100 registrations happen instantly it's very difficult for us to catch them.
Once you have registered, you will receive an EMAIL CONFIRMATION with further instructions as to how to pay for the program. Once a student has registered online, payment must be made at the Recreation office by May 1.
Payment can be made online, mailed in the form of a check written to the Town of Southington or payment can be made in person by cash, check or charge at the Recreation office (which is located on the 2nd floor of TOWN HALL at 75 Main Street - NOT in the new municipal building at the former North Center School) between 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday. The office is generally closed between 12:00 and 1:00 for lunch.
Families with more than one child in the Footlights or Spotlights will receive $20 off each additional child's registration.
