ABout st. margaret's center's annual christmas program
St. Margaret’s Center, a community center located in Lennox, CA, is taking monetary and toy donations for our 35th annual Christmas Program on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
For over 30 years, SMC has organized an annual Christmas program to serve 500 low-income families, with more than 1000 children, on a single day.
After acting the last three years as a "drive-through" event, St. Margaret's Center is proud to announce the return to our in-person event, taking place at Lennox Middle School at 11033 Buford Ave. in Lennox, just a couple of miles east of LAX.
Each child will receive new toys, experience live entertainment and games, and enjoy holiday cheer with fellow members of their community. All will receive a free lunch, and parents will receive a $50 grocery card as part of the festivities as well.
To accomplish the tall task of returning back to our in-person event, St. Margaret's Center is calling on our friends and supporters to donate toys, time and/or monetary support to the cause.
4,000 toys will be wrapped by SMC volunteers and handed (in bags) to parents attending to distribute to their children on Christmas Day.
