Due to the Covid-19 Crisis, St. Margaret's Center suspended some of our services for low-income households, but we are continuing to help those in need.
Below is a list on how we can help you & the community!
For 14 months, St. Margaret's Center staff and volunteers continuously operated the food pantry through a drive-thru service to provide groceries to families in need during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now we have transitioned to in-person appointments, all within Covid-19 regulations, and our services currently take place outside. Please read below for more information.
COVID-19 Response
Your safety and our staff's safety are our number one priority. We are following the current Covid-19 guidelines to make sure we are doing everything we can to mitigate the risk of infection and exposure in our office.
Here are some of the changes we have enacted at St. Margaret's Center:
Only two persons allowed in the lobby at a time
Masks are required at all times
Proper PPE equipment is provided to all staff: masks, gloves, face-shields, plastic barriers, etc.
Hand Sanitizer available to volunteers & employees
Frequent sanitization of counters, office space, and bathrooms
