A big thankyou to all of the people who came to this year's show for your support and for making it a great success.
Our thanks also go to exhibitors and Trade Stands and all of the "back room" staff who kept them supplied with tea, coffee, biscuits cake and bacon butties!
A Special thankyou to our sponsors; Magnet Insurance Services, Keith's Trains & Hornby Models for supporting this year's show.

** This year's Winners: 'Canon's Cross' **
Congratulations go to this year’s winners of the Trophy for ‘Canon’s Cross’ and to Bill and the Team from The Market Deeping Model Railway Club and their Stirling efforts to get this layout to our show after their “misfortunes” at the Stamford Model Rail Show.
The Layout is based on the Southern Region of BR in the 1950 & 60s and operates with Steam, diesel and EMU's.
Their Layout Canon’s Cross, proving to be the most popular at this year’s show, was a replacement for ‘Boscroft’. Well done.
** In 2nd Place: 'No Place' **
Run by Les Richardson, a 4mm OO Gauge layout set in the North West of County Durham.
"No Place Disposal Point" was built by the Ministry of Fuel and Power in 1942 on the site of East Stanley Colliery. The coal screens were linked to the Beamish Railway near Beamish Station.
** Joint 3rd Place: Smallbridge Junction and Op Bolero **
** Smallbridge Junction **
Run by Dale Gillard, a 009 Gauge layout.
Smallbridge Junction is an imaginary small junction connecting the branch line to wood warehouse. The station today is hosting a Mini Owners Club in the car park.
** Op Bolero **
Run by Eddie King, Jim King and Team at the S&D MRC
An OO Gauge Layout set in May 1944 at a goods yard in a secret location somewhere in the Midlands.

2018 Exhibition
The 2018 Exhibition took place on the 2nd June and was hailed by all as the best show yet. With 15 layouts and 6 trade stands as well as demonstrations given by Tony Wright the show provided the variety that we were looking for.
Our thanks go to all those club members and others who worked so hard to ensure the success of the show.
Also thank you everyone who attended, without you there would be no show and your comments really help us to improve the show year on year.
See you all next year (1 June 2019) when the show should be even bigger and better.
