About me

I am currently doing PhD in School of ICT, Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia. My research area is Graph data management. I Completed my Masters and Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. I am an Assistant Professor in the department of Software Engineering of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. I also worked as a Software Engineer in Leads Corporation Limited which is one of the leading Software company in Bangladesh. I like to dedicate myself in teaching and research.

Current Projects

  1. Compression Techniques for Shortest Distance Query

The goal of this research is to improve searching of queries by compressing large graphs based on its structure. Shortest distance query is a key important research area in basic computing which has tremendous application in social networks, web graphs and road networks. Some existing distance indexing methods require high storage space and some are performing slow in query searching. The compression technique of this research can be used to minimise those. The importance of this research is significant as the query searching is becoming challenging day by day due to the growing volume of data.
