Labor Day Regatta Results

Racing started at 1:30pm in a light southerly, which included shifts from the east and also the north, which made for interesting racing. The Bakkers, back from the European racing circut, took first place. Dick Lathrop and Judy Saide took second place. It was great to have Dick make the trip from Connecticut and race with us. And it was good to hear the latest news about his educational organization, Sea Legs (http://sea-legs.org/). Gary Orkney provided expert race management, adjusting the course for the second race to accommodate the southerly shift. Special thanks to Betty Ann who organized the post-racing cookout, and Steve Kovacs who did the grilling. Thanks also to everyone who brought food for the potluck - is was an incredible feast!
