Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry - USM Chapter

SETAC is a global not-for-profit organization whose concerns are "research, teaching and training in the fields of exotoxicology and environmental chemistry." We are student sub-chapter under the North Atlantic Chapter.

The USM chapter of SETAC is a brand new, but very active, student group. Our short term goals are to inform students and the general public of what SETAC is and does. We are eager to inspire other individuals to join us in our strides to improve and protect the environment. Our long term goals involve putting new found knowledge into action, in turn gaining support for environmental outreach and outreach and policies in the future.
