Peter Opsahl

After graduating from Seattle University in 1983 with the BSCE cum laude, Peter Opsahl began working with Skilling Ward Magnusson Barkshire (later Magnusson Klemencic Associates), where he remained for over 13 years. He then worked with Swenson Say Fagét for 3 years before establishing his own firm, Peter A. Opsahl Structural Engineering. In March 2012 he joined others as Lund Wright Opsahl.

Peter has designed a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, medical and educational facilities and residential, both multi-family and single-family, throughout the West Coast and Southeast Asia. He has also provided project management services to the Port of Seattle. His project involvement includes the Childhaven Headquarters, the Nisqually Administration Building, Agnes Lofts, the Rainier Cold Storage Demolition at Terminal 25, and the Bypass Conveyors at the Terminal 86 Grain Elevators in Seattle.

Peter holds Structural Engineer licenses in Washington, California, Oregon, Idaho and Colorado.
