Gregg Schrader

Gregg Schrader earned the BSCE in 1981 from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

He worked in structural consulting in the Seattle area before beginning work as plan review supervisor for the City of Bellevue.

He joined SEAW in 1988, participating in the Seismic Preparedness Committee and the SEAW State Exam Committee for 5 years, and representing the State of Washington at grading sessions in San Francisco and San Diego. He worked as a volunteer inspector for the City of Los Angeles after the Northridge Earthquake, and since then as an instructor for ATC-20 post-earthquake building safety trainings for SEAW, King County Emergency Management, University of Washington, WSDOT, Bellevue School District, and Overlake Hospital. He also took part in the 2008 SEAW/UW Wenchuan Reconnaissance Team following the Sichuan Earthquake.
