While spending time in the MAC, these general rules should be followed:
1) The MAC is a place for Math (hence the name Math Activities Center). Work for other classes needs to be done somewhere else.
2) Although texting on cellphones is allowed, phone conversations should be taken outside out of respect for the people who are studying. Students can also listen to music using headphones, though no one sitting around them should be able to hear the music.
3) The MAC encourages people to work together. However, loud noise will not be tolerated out of respect for students who are studying alone.
4) Computers are provided for students needing to do their math homework online, use Minitab, or other math related work. Students can print math related items on the printer provided. Students needing a computer to do things relating to other subjects, or for personal use, need to use the computers in the library.
