Since 1925, KRT, CPAs P.C., the oldest CPA firm in Savannah, Georgia, has been offering a broad range of customized accounting, audit and tax services to clients in a variety of industries including auto dealerships, physician practices, professional service firms, construction contractors and developers. 

 

Due to continued growth, we're currently seeking a self-motivated, well-organized team player with 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to lead tax and accounting engagements from beginning to end.  Working directly with clients while providing business consulting, you will prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses including partnership and trust & estate returns, conduct complex tax research and planning while ensuring compliance, complete general accounting tasks on behalf of clients and develop and cultivate professional client relationships.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
  • CPA license or on track to obtain CPA license
  • Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service and PC skills including accounting software proficiency
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to identify complex accounting issues, juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Peeples Industries, Inc.(PII) is a 56-year-old privately owned Savannah, GA based business with average annual revenue of $25MM.  PII is a vertically integrated asset based maritime logistics company recognized as a leader for both outstanding customer service and innovation in bulk materials handling.  Our range of experience includes bulk, break-bulk, and container stevedoring, terminal operations, warehousing, vessel chartering, inland logistics (truck & rail), materials handling engineering, industrial marine construction, and dredging.  PII’s origins date back to 1964 when Frank K.
