Dr Sam Wass

I am a developmental cognitive neuroscientist who leads the Baby and Child Development Lab at the University of East London.

I am a previous holder of research fellowships from the British Academy and the Economic and Social Research Council, and a current holder of a research fellowship from the European Research Council. My research examines stress and attention during early life.

I also act as a child development expert for Public Health England, the Department of Education, the Science Museum, Lego, Aardman Animations and many more. And I run training for practitioners working with young children.
