Results of On-line Survey 2014/15

A big thank you to all who completed our survey for NHW co-ordinators and deputies in the borough. We were sorry that less than half of those contacted completed the survey but the replies we did receive have informed us regarding future conferences and gave very positive feedback from those who attended the conference last October.

The survey indicated:

• A large majority preference for an evening conference, held in the Autumn;

• Similar numbers had a preference for a venue in Addlestone and Egham;

• We should open the conference to other relevant groups, eg residents’ associations and more watch members than just co-ordinators and their deputies.

Next conference

We are therefore now going to hold our next conference in Egham, early in October ’15. Once we have the date and venue fixed we will get in touch with you to get the date in your diary.

During the next few months we will be planning details for the conference. The survey indicated strong preferences for topics at the event, which we will aim to incorporate. If you have suggestions about what to incorporate in a conference for NHW but did not complete the survey, it is not too late to pass the information on! Please get in touch.

Contact us

Don’t forget that if there is something you think other co-ordinators in the borough should know about, you can e-mail the Runnymede NHW Steering Group on runnymedeneighbourwatch@gmail.com and we will send an e-mail round to all co-ordinators.

Runnymede Residents Community Website

This is the website set up for Runnymede Residents, http://runnymederesidents.wordpress.com/ which has plenty of information from various groups round the borough, but it also has posts from Runnymede Police. For example, see the post from 7th March about Trading Standards and the website for tradesmen and businesses in Surrey http://www.checkatrade.com/surrey/
