Note regarding Event Scholarships:
To ensure that all girls have the opportunity to attend RBSU events, we hope that troops will be sensitive in helping families whose scout may not be able to afford to attend and event. When a troop needs help funding a scout, then troop leaders can request and Event Scholarship from Richardson Bay Service Unit (RBSU) for a girl in their troop who would not be able to attend a RBSU event due to lack of funds. Funds for Event Scholarships are limited, so RBSU can only fulfill three requests per Service Unit year (Sept to June). Scholarships are only for girl participants who are registered Girl Scouts. Each girl is allowed only one scholarship per year. The Request for Event Scholarship is included in the list of documents below. Please complete and forward to Janet Smith.
