Ohio Online Arrest & Mugshot Removal Law

In March of 2017, the Ohio House passed a bill banning fees to remove arrest mugshots from websites. The bill is now scheduled for consideration by the Ohio Senate later this year. In the meantime, however, those with Ohio arrest records and/or booking photos published online still have paid options to completely remove their record from most third-party websites that collect and republish arrest details and mugshot pictures from county sheriff offices and jails across Ohio.
