On March 2nd 2011 Peter Symonds competed in the first heats of Global Rock Challenge at Southampton Guildhall. The day started early with rehearsals throughtout the morning and afternoon, giving Symonds the chance to practise but to also see what they were up against. With strong themes from Westgate (The Chilean Miners) and great dancing in perfect timing from Costello Technology College Symonds knew they has to give the performance of their lives.
The show started at 7 o'clock with friends and family of the performers coming to show support. Backstage Lucy Eades and Ali Backhouse were busy working on make up while the performers did eachother's hair and got into costume. Temper Trap Sweet Disposition plays and Pandora sees hope, with a beautiful balletic performance. The box is finally closed in a stunning and beautifully choreographed piece with Pink Funhouse and Thr Prodigy Omen setting the scene.
