Congregational Officebearers.

The Clerk will be in touch with Session Clerks soon with the annual update of Congregational Officebearers. List of posts
Kirk Sessions (or Boards if not Unitary Constitution) are asked to appoint a Health and Safety Administrator (see the H&S Toolkit recently circulated to Session Clerks and Property Convenors - & churchofscotland.org.uk/resources/generaltrusteeshealthandsafety_toolkit ). It may be that this remit can be included with that of the Property Convenor.

Fraud Alert

Congregations should be vigilant with regard to any approach from any third parties, particularly “Children’s Advisory Services” or “Child Safety” and should as a matter of good practice consider the background of any organisation requesting funds or proposing business dealings with them.

Rural Roadshows

Resourcing the Rural Church The Rural Working Group of the Church of Scotland has been created to resource and support the 43% of Church of Scotland Parishes that are rural. The Rural Working Group have just created a suite of resources aimed at supporting the rural church and would like to share them with those  interested in, or involved in, rural ministry – ministers and non ministers. We will be travelling round the country delivering Rural Resourcing Roadshows.

Congregational Learning - Focus Group

Thurs 26th October - Hannah Sanderson from Mission and Discipleship will be holding a focus group 7pm - 8pm in FW Duncansburgh Macintosh to look at Congregational Learning's online resources and obtain feedback. Please let Richard Baxter know if you plan to attend.
