Bio

I am a research associate at the
Institute for Signal ProcessingUniversity of Lübeck (Germany), working with Prof. Alfred Mertins. I received the BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Science, Ho Chi Minh City
(Vietnam) and the MEng degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) under the supervision of Prof. Ian McLoughlin and Prof. Tan Su Lim Forest. My research interests include signal processing, and machine learning. I defended my PhD thesis, entitled "Audio Event Detection, Classification, and Beyond", in August 2017. The thesis is going to be further examined for the grade "summa cum laude".
