I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford (UK), working with Prof. Maarten De Vos. I defensed my PhD thesis, 
entitled "Audio Event Detection, Classification, and Beyond", at the Institute for Signal ProcessingUniversity of Lübeck (Germany), working with Prof. Alfred MertinsThe thesis received the grade "summa cum laude". I got the BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Science, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and the MEng degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) under the supervision of Prof. Ian McLoughlin and Prof. Tan Su Lim Forest.

My research interests include signal processing, and machine learning with applications in environmental sound analysis and healthcare.
