Port Macquarie V Kempsey December 2018

A fantastic day was had against a great bunch from Kempsey. The whole day was played in a very sportsperson manner. We both had teams of 8 players split into 2 groups. It was very competitive but we did manage to get the better of them on the day. Perhaps the highlight was Tai defeating Kempsey's number 2 player (Steve Tarbox) in a great match. Well done to all and I am personally looking forward to a re-match
A special thank you to Geoff, who forego playing to be the organiser of the day. It is only due to people like him that we have such a great club

Port Macquarie V Coffs Harbour September 2018 (Mid North Coast Cup)

A good win for Port Macquarie to take the Mid North Coast Cup. Some very strong personal results with Ken and Mick (division 2), Geoff and Thomas (division 3) and Lyn, Barbara and Tai (division 4) winning all of their singles matches. Also great to see Zac making his debut for Port Macquarie

City vs Country 1st September 2018

Port Macquarie had four teams in the annual City vs Country championships (played at Niagara Park on the central coast). Overall it was a win for country (which does not happen all that often) so it was an extra good day! There were some great individual results with Murray and Colin winning all of their singles and Ken and Adi each winning 5 out of 6 singles.

The most successful player for Port M was the 14 year old Kobi playing in the top division. He won all of his singles matches and all of his doubles matches (playing with Ken).
In the second division Andrew Lovayed won all singles and in the third division Barbara won all her singles matches.
The 14 year old Ryan also played in the top division and won all except one singles and this he narrowly lost to Coffs H number one player.
A special mention of the work that our Ken does in organising the teams.
