словно на сосульках

по тонкому льду.

Я за малолеткой

в удобных балетках,

мудрая, иду.

Мы идём к любимым.

легко босиком!

In heels, a pretty lady,

on icicles, unsteady,

walks on the thinning ice.

In front of me, my little one

with comfy ballet slippers on,

I’m elegant and wise.

Our loved ones and our darlings

will find us so startling

that they will swoon indeed!

Returning late at night.

It feels so nice and light,

so pleasant on bare feet!
