About Cats

Коты гнездятся где попало:

На ватных тёплых одеялах,

На полках и в горшках цветочных,

В стихах, и даже между строчек.

В корзинах, сумках и пакетах,

В мозгах и на других планетах.

Всмотрись получше: между звёзд

Полным-полно кошачьих гнезд!

Cats nest wherever, anywhere:

On quilted blankets, without care,

On shelves, in flower pots of course,

And in-between the lines of verse,

In baskets, bags, between the folds,

In people’s brains and other worlds.

If you look carefully and parse:

Their nests abound in the stars!
