Who we are:     The Prairie Infectious Immunology Network is a collection of researchers and trainees interested in the immune response, infectious microorganisms and the interaction between the two.  Bringing together the prairie strengths in human and animal infectious disease research, immunobiology and vaccine and therapeutics development, PIIN aims to build critical mass in these areas through promoting regional collaborations.

The 2014 PIIN Meeting:     This event brings together the research community from government, industry and academia in Manitoba and Saskatchewan along with invited speakers from across Canada and internationally.  The philosophy of the meeting is to create a collaborative and interactive learning environment that will inform, excite and provide trans-disciplinary interactions and opportunities.  The meeting will provide research trainees with opportunities to present their work, connect with leading national and international experts in an informal setting and build their skills in professional development workshops.

Meeting Venue:       The meeting will be held in the conference centre of the Lakeview Hecla Resort - a beautiful and unique location on a protected natural area on the shore of Lake Winnipeg.
