Sorting the list of Albums

You can sort the list of albums by:

• Most recent photo in the album
  You can change this order by editing dates. To Edit the "Date taken" of a photo at Google Photos:

• • Open a photo,  click the "i" (Info) icon and click the pencil (edit) icon to the right of the date

  • To "batch edit" date and time: select multiple photos, click 3 dots ("More options"), then "Edit date & time".
    Click either option "Shift dates & times" or "Set one date & time" and make your changes. 

• Album title

• Last modified (on top)

To change to another way of sorting: on https://photos.google.com/albums or Library > Albums on mobile devices, tap on the actual sort mode shown at the right side and select the desired sort mode.
